Cold sores or fever blisters are viral

Amantadine causes reaction such as dizziness, confusion and
insomnia. Ganciclovir may cause skin rashes and nausea. This
drug can reduce red blood cell production causing anemia and
white blood cell production and thereby reducing immunity. It
may also lead to kidney problems. Ribovirin can cause anemia.
